POINTSBET BECOMES AN AUTHORIZED GAMING OPERATOR OF THE XFL

The XFL and PointsBet, a top-tier global sportsbook operator, today announced a new deal that makes PointsBet an authorized gaming operator of the league.

As part of the agreement, PointsBet will receive access to official league data and content for use across its online and mobile channels. Additionally, PointsBet will be integrated into weekly digital content from the XFL.

“Embracing the spread is a core business strategy for us and our new alliance with PointsBet is the latest example of how we are engaging football fans through legal sports betting,” said Jeffrey Pollack, President and COO of the XFL.

“At PointsBet, we view ourselves as an innovative tech company, first and foremost, and it’s reflective in our approach to bookmaking as well as the experiences we provide,” noted Johnny Aitken, CEO of PointsBet USA. “The XFL is offering fans an innovative, differentiated and highly entertaining brand of football, and we are excited to partner together throughout the rest of this historic season.”

PointsBet will promote and continue to offer XFL betting markets to its clients starting with Week 4 of the XFL season and extending through the 2020 regular season, playoffs and league Championship on April 26. PointsBet and the XFL will also work together on best-in-class practices to protect the integrity of XFL games.

PointsBet, which has market access to 12 states, is currently available to U.S. sports betting customers in New Jersey and Iowa.
