LA Clippers -1 Point Spread (-111) LA Clippers @PHI 76ers
BOS Celtics +2.5 Point Spread (-111) BOS Celtics @ HOU Rockets

LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS @ PHILADELPHIA 76ERS

TUE, FEB 11TH – 7:00PM ET:

Against the Spread Pick (-1)

This is a marquee matchup, though we are not sure these teams are living up to their side of the bargain much lately. The Clippers were bizarrely hammered at Minnesota a couple of games back, losing by almost 30 and giving up 142 points. That is not the kind of result a championship team should have particularly when both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard played too.

They rebounded against Cleveland and it is probably an outlier, but a road performance like the former does not inspire much confidence.  After dropping 4 straight the 76ers have now won back to back games. Beating Memphis and Chicago is nice, but they are going to be in for a real test against the Clippers. Even though Philly are at home I think L.A. is a bad matchup for them. They have the size to contest Joel Embiid and enough wing players with size to flummox Ben Simmons. Take the Clippers Against the spread here.

BOSTON CELTICS @ HOUSTON ROCKETS,

TUE, FEB 11TH – 9:30PM ET:

Against the Spread Pick (+2.5)

Three games into Houstons’ small-ball experiment, the jury is still out. Houston beat the Lakers but are now coming off two losses to Phoenix (by 36 points) and Utah. With Clint Capela moving to Atlanta, the Rockets have no real inside presence.

The Celtics on the other hand have won seven in a row and 10 of their last 11! Their three-game road winning streak includes a 109-101 victory at Miami, which is one of the toughest places to win on the road. Jayson Tatum averaging over 22 points per game has scored at least 25 points in five consecutive contests. The Celtics are 8-3 against the spread (ATS) in their last 11 overall, 4-0 ATS in their last four against opponents. Houston on the other hand are 2-5 ATS in its last seven following a loss. Take BOSTON to do it with confidence!
